FOR EDUCATORS. FOR STUDENTS. FOR ALL.

Village Life Education exists to prepare educators, professionals, and students to achieve their greatest aspirations.

Village Life Education emerged from troubling inequitable experiences and outcomes for K-12 and Community College students. National, state, and local data indicate persistent learning gaps and low transfer rates, with low percentages of Black, Latino, and Indigenous students meeting or exceeding state and national standards. We can do better and have done so through the power of collective action, resolve, and commitment to evidence-based practice, critical discourse, and a belief in a humanizing educational experience. Village Life Education invites you to join our resolve to positively impact the lives of current and future generations.

Student Empowerment

Students can thrive if provided the opportunity, skills, and encouragement to do so. What if they are given a space to challenge themselves, learn from their mistakes, and create meaning–even if the journey is daunting? The Student Empowerment Project will allow students to build self-confidence and efficacy, guided by evidence-based practices and over twenty years of experience in student achievement.

“The function of education is to teach one to think intensively and to think critically. Intelligence plus character - that is the goal of true education.”
