WE ARE THE VILLAGE.

Giving back.

Witnessing Success.

  • The Equity Literacy Project empowers teachers to develop the disposition, acumen, resources, and networks for a sustainable, inclusive, equitable and affirming school community. It features scholarly literature on teaching and equity, collaborative activities, and a capstone case study to discover what can be done to support students and their parents/guardians, especially those who are disengaged from the school community.

  • Many K-12 teachers have the capacity and desire to improve math instruction, intentionally using their platforms to offer hope and a humanizing pedagogy to engage their learners. The Math Literacy project will equip teachers with the ability to empower their students through culturally-responsive, content-rich, and student-centered practices.

  • Students can thrive if provided the opportunity, skills, and encouragement to do so. What if they are given a space to challenge themselves, learn from their mistakes, and create meaning–even if the journey is daunting? The Student Empowerment Project will allow students to build self-confidence and efficacy, guided by evidence-based practices and over twenty years of experience in student achievement.

Village Life Education empowers professionals and students to achieve their greatest aspirations through world-class professional development and academic advising.
